Here are the steps to download, install, and activate Hy-Tek's HY-WIRE for Pocket PC.
Step 1 - Download the HY-WIRE Installation File
Click Here to go to the Hy-Tek HY-WIRE web page and then click on Download Demo section to download the HY-WIRE Installation file named HY-WIRE-PPC-Install.zip. If your Internet browser asks if you want to Save or Open the file, click on Save and pick any directory you wish.
Step 2 - Install HY-WIRE on your Pocket PC Device
After the download has been completed, double click on the HY-WIRE-PPC-Install.zip file using your computer's Unzip utility software to unzip the file. After the HY-WIRE-PPC-Install.zip has been unzipped and stored in a directory of your choosing, click on the HY-WIRE-PPC-Install.exe file that has been unzipped.
Make sure your Pocket PC device is in it's cradle and connected to your computer's USB port. Now follow the prompts from the HY-WIRE Installer to install and Active Sync the HY-WIRE software to your Pocket PC device.
Step 3 - Activate
Until you Activate your HY-WIRE software, you will only be able to use it as a Demo with the Demo Start Lists and Meet Results that have been included with your installation. To Activate, you must first place your order for HY-WIRE by going to Hy-Tek's Online Store. Click Here to go right to the HY-WIRE order page to place your order. You must include your Activation License along with other information when you place your order. Here's how you can find your Activation License. Click on your HY-WIRE icon on your Pocket PC device then click on Hy-Tek's HY-WIRE at the top of the screen, then click on Activate. Your Activation License is displayed right on the screen.
After your order has been processed, you will be e-mailed an Activation Key. Click on your HY-WIRE icon on your Palm OS device then click on Hy-Tek's HY-WIRE at the top and then click on Activate. Enter the Activation Key and then click OK and your HY-WIRE software will be activated.
