Dos-MM Users - Move Entries, Records, and Rosters

If you have already set up your Entries or Records in HY-TEK's Track & Field MEET MANAGER for DOS product, follow these steps to move the entries over to your MM Database.

How to Move Entries from DOS-MM to MM

If you have already set up your entries in HY-TEK's Track & Field MEET MANAGER for DOS product, follow these steps to move the entries over to your MM Database.

1.

Enter your events in MM exactly as in DOS-TFMM. If you are using Divisions, be sure to set them up exactly the same as in DOS-TFMM and in the same order and with the same Division number.

2.

Start Track & Field COMMLINK for DOS and then choose Build from the Main Menu, then choose 1 for Merging Entries.

3.

Enter the directory where the DOS-TFMM database is located and proceed with the export of the entries to a location on your hard disk. If MM is on another computer, export the entries file to a diskette.

4.

Next, go to MM, select File / Import / Merge Entries, find the .tcl file created by COMMLINK and double click on it.

5.

Continue to follow the prompts to complete the Import.

How to Move Records from DOS-MM to MM

If you have already set up your records in HY-TEK's Track & Field MEET MANAGER for DOS product, follow these steps to move the records over to your MM Database.

1.

Enter your events in MM exactly as in DOS-TFMM. If you are using Divisions, be sure to set them up exactly the same as in DOS-TFMM and in the same order and with the same Division number.

2.

Start Track & Field COMMLINK for DOS and then choose Build from the Main Menu, then choose 5 for Records.

3.

Enter the directory where the DOS-TFMM database is located and proceed with the export of the entries to a location on your hard disk. If MM is on another computer, export the entries file to a diskette.

4.

Next, go to MM, select Events / Records / Import, find the .tcl file created by COMMLINK and double click on it.

Continue to follow the prompts to complete the Import.

How to Move Rosters from DOS-MM to MM

If you have already have your athletes and teams in HY-TEK's Track & Field MEET MANAGER for DOS product, follow these steps to move them over to your MM Database.

1.

Start Track & Field COMMLINK for DOS and then choose Build from the Main Menu, then choose 4 for Rosters Only.

2.

Enter the directory where the DOS-TFMM database is located and proceed with the export of the rosters to a location on your hard disk. If MM is on another computer, export the entries file to a diskette.

3.

Next, go to MM, select File / Import / Rosters Only, find the .tcl file created by COMMLINK and double click on it.

4.

Continue to follow the prompts to complete the Import.
