MEET MANAGER 2.0 for Swimming
Updates Released in 2006

Version 2.0Ed - December 6, 2006
·When importing entries for relays and the file contains both male and female relays, but the database only contains one gender of relay events, the relay names did not import correctly and this is corrected.

Version 2.0Ec - November 26, 2006
·The new upload of results to the Swimming World Magazine web site has been revised to only upload rounds of events that are completed. This cleanup allows users to upload results after each session of a meet and the results are updated as the meet goes and prevents viewers from wasting time by clicking on events that have no results.

Version 2.0Eb - November 23, 2006
·The heat start times are now included in the Meet Program when two events are alternating heats such as for the women's 800 and the men's 1500.
·When importing SDIF .sd3 entry files, you now have the option to match on event number.
·There is a correction for an error that occurred to the Team Report for entry fees when showing detailed charges by athlete.

Version 2.0Ea - November 21, 2006
·The upload of results to the Swimming World Magazine web site has been revised to show the state, the LSC, and the country on each page of results. In addition, there is a Stop button on the Swimming World export menu in MM in you want to stop the upload before it completes.

Version 2.0E - November 19, 2006
·NEW: You can now upload your meet results to the Swimming World Magazine web site simply by clicking MM's File / Export / Results for Swimming World Magazine Web Site. This requires a live Internet connection on the MM computer. Typically you would export the results at the end of each day or after each session. The exported format will be the same as MM's Real Time Results format. The web site can receive results from any class of meet run with MM and the site has filtering tools to help you find meets by allowing you to search by date range, state, LSC code, and/or country. To visit the site, go to: http://www.swimmingworldmagazine.com/results/Hy-Tek_search.asp.
·When creating heat sheets or results in three column format, the event name has been shortened to eliminate the word Event and replace it with the # symbol so that Event 13 becomes #13. This is done to allow more space for the event name on these narrow columns.
·The dual meet format results report now handles dual meets that are setup as Divisions by Event.

Version 2.0Dr - November 6, 2006
·Hy-Tek Points have been added for 13 and over 50 fly, 50 back, 50 breast, and 100 IM.
·Updated U.S. National Age Group Record files for short course yards and long course are included with the update and can be imported from the Records Menu. In addition, the 2007 USS Time Standards file is also included and can be imported from the Time Standards Menu.
·When seeding using the Timed Final Super Seeding option, the early heats were incorrectly seeded under certain situations and this has been corrected.
·When creating award labels for the Combined Events, the place range filter in the Scores Report Menu is now honored. Previously, labels were created for every swimmer.
·Mixed, male, and female relays can now be handled in the same event for Masters meets whereas before only male and female relays were ranked.

Version 2.0Dq - September 30, 2006
·When in the Run Menu and clicking List or Score, MM now checks to see if the timer is sending blank splits for all the odd splits. If they are blank, a message is given to warn that the timer is set to pads at the far end when in fact there are no pads at the far end, and the timer pool configuration needs to be adjusted. If the odd splits are blank, then MM cannot print out subtracted splits properly.

Version 2.0Dp - September 29, 2006
·The Adjust Backup Times routine has been changed to look for pad times that are greater than .30 rather than greater than or equal to the backup times. This is to conform with FINA rules.
·The Administrative Report for Award Counts now indicates in the title whether the counts were based on actual entries or not.
·When using HY-WIRE, you can now update the HY-WIRE start lists from the Seeding Menu or the Run Menu by pressing Ctrl-W. In addition, when using the Seeding Menu to seed an event or to alter the seeding using the Preview Menu, the HY-WIRE start lists are automatically updated when you exit the Seeding Menu.
·You can now use .jpg picture files for the background screen in MM.

Version 2.0Do - August 20, 2006
·The Exceptions Report for Check Relays now also checks that all swimmers are from the same team.
·Relay Award labels now show the age group if the event is multi-age or the meet is masters.
·When upper/lower case punctuation is chosen, if the first 4 letters are lower case, then upper/lower case punctuation is performed whereas previously it would not.
·A new choice has been added to the Teams Report when performing an athlete/entries count and that is to calculate based on the citizen country code of the athlete rather than the team.
·When printing award labels, there is a warning if you try to print awards for a preliminary or semi-final round since this is usually not intended and wastes labels.

Version 2.0Dn - August 1, 2006
·Favorite Directories have been increased from an 80 character limit to 160 characters.
·DQ Code descriptions now show in Flat HTML results.
·When exporting the scoreboard start list for Omega, the relay names are now included in the lststart.txt file.

Version 2.0Dm - July 17, 2006
·When setup as Divisions by Team or Divisions by Entry, award labels from Labels / Award Labels had the wrong division indicated on the label. Award labels from Ctrl-A in the Run were correct.
·If Show Country Code with Team Name is selected in Report Preferences, the country code did not show in every report and now it is displayed with award labels, entry cards, team scores, athlete rosters, psych sheets, meet program, and results.
·Time Standards and Qualifying times for masters events can now be used in the Exceptions Report and in checking qualifying times entered in the Athlete menu.

Version 2.0Dl - June 20, 2006
·When showing actual entered time when times are entered with multiple courses and when not seeding non-conforming times last, the rankings for the Psych Sheet are now sorted by the converted time while showing the actual time.
·When exporting results for TEAM MANAGER using the alternate team abbreviation, if there was no alternate team abbreviation, MM exported a blank for the abbreviation and this caused a problem in TM. This is corrected to export the actual team abbreviation when there is no alternate team abbreviation.
·When purging results or entries, the event check box for indicating whether award labels have been printed or not are now reset to unchecked.

Version 2.0Dk - May 23, 2006
·The Hy-Tek Single Year Points have a correction for two events that were scoring too high. The events are the female 13 year old 200 yard breaststroke and the female 11 year old 500 free.
·When exporting results for TEAM MANAGER for diving events, the number of dives, 6 or 11, is now carried with the event so that TM correctly displays the number of dives for the event.

Version 2.0Dj - May 18, 2006
·A new option has been added to the ranking of Combined Events such as Pentathlon when using Points as the ranking method. You have the option to include or not include those who have not completed every event in the Combined Event. This option is in the Reports / Scores menu.
·In Seeding Preferences, a new option has been added to exclude Exhibition athletes from the Championship Final.
·The Exclude Foreign Athletes in the Championship Final preference found in Seeding Preferences now applies to events where there is only a Championship Final. Previously, MM only applied this exclusion to Championship Finals where there was more than one heat such as in an A-Final, B-Final situation.

Version 2.0Di - May 8, 2006
·When selecting the country code to be displayed with the team name, it now displays on two column and three column reports.
·Support for the ALGE Timy Timer has been added.
·When importing masters record file formats there is new flexibility in the naming of the files and they are no longer limited to four character names.
·When displaying records with results, the age group within multi-age groups is no longer repeated since it matches the event name's age group.

Version 2.0Dh - April 24, 2006
·A new feature has been added which allows a user to manage multiple MM license's in cases where one user runs meets for more than one team.
·There is a new option when creating the spreadsheet for Combined Event results to include NT's and NS's when using total swum time to rank the results. This allows you to see the rankings after say two events.
·For Open Water meets, a new feature has been added to score the team relays and allow you to include those points in team scores. In addition, you can now print award labels for these team relays (which add up the times for three swimmers from each team in say the 2000k swim).
·For BCSSA meets only, alpha numeric event numbers can be used when interfacing to a CTS timer or an ARES 21 timer as long as the same numeric part of the event number is not used twice.

Version 2.0Dg - March 29, 2006
·There is a new option in the Run Menu's preferences for backup times which allows you to choose whether to adjust backup times or not when there is a lane malfunction. The choice is whether to use FINA rules or USA Swimming rules. If there is a bad touch on a pad, FINA uses the Backup time with no adjustments, while USA Swimming adjusts the Backup time by adding the average differential between the pad and backup of the non-malfunctioning lanes to the Backup time.
·Records tags can be setup to prevent foreigners from being eligible to break records with this tag. This works for individual events, but did not for relays. Now if there are one or more foreigners on a relay, that relay will not be eligible to break a record that is set to not allow foreigners to break the record.

Version 2.0Df - March 11, 2006
·There is a new Global option to replace the school year of athletes to any desired other school year code. This is especially useful if entries have both "11" and "JR" for athletes. You can replace all 11's with JR or all JR's with 11 and this makes for better looking meet programs and results.
·In the Purge Data Selectively menu, there is a new choice to delete all athletes who are seniors as designated by "12" or "SR" for their class year.
·The import of entries from USA Swimming's new Online Entry System has been revised to properly handle Unattached swimmers that come in with a team entry.
·The BCSSA system of Divisions has been revised to allow "O8" category swimmers to enter into "S8" category events. In addition, "O8" events can no longer be created.

Version 2.0De - March 3, 2006
·There is a new report preferences option to show age and birth year on one column psych sheets, heat sheets, and results.
·When importing Advancer entries from a previous MM meet, if the meet was Divisions by Event and you do not match on event number, the division was not matching correctly and this is corrected.
·When creating results for printing or web real time, if you selected to not include reaction times, they still appeared for relay exchanges and this is corrected.
·When exporting results to TM or SWIMS, if the option to only include athletes with USA Swimming registration numbers is selected, relays are now excluded if one of the four athletes does not have a USA Swimming registration number.
·When using the Daktronics timer and when team scores are requested by the timer or the scoreboard computer, the title now includes the last event number scored through regardless of the meet setup for dual meets or not.

Version 2.0Dd - February 15, 2006
·There is a new option to suppress results and splits for times that do not make the qualifying time. If this is selected, the results will simply display NT for the time and on exports, the results will not be included.
·Time Standards for individual events can now be entered for Masters meets and of course one or two time standards can be used for entry qualifying times.
·When creating a Point Systems report, if an athlete swam prelims and was scratched from finals, the point score for the prelim round did not appear and this is corrected

Version 2.0Dc - February 9, 2006
·The option to use the official FINA DQ Codes has been added to the Meet Setup. You now have the option to select the existing Hy-Tek DQ Codes or the FINA DQ Codes.
·The British Columbia Summer Swimming Association (BCSSA) Division 9 has been renamed to "6 & Under".
·When a relay event was setup as Mixed and Multi-age Group, the scoring for male and/or female team scores would be incorrect, but the Combined Team scores would be ok. This has been corrected.
·If an Un-Seeded event is manually seeded from the Run Menu using the Adjust Menu, the status is now changed to Seeded rather than leaving it as Un-Seeded.
·When exporting Entries for SWIMS Times Recon, the option to exclude bonus events has been added.
·When exporting results to TM and when selecting to use the Alternate Team Abbreviation, the alternate abbreviation was not being properly included in the hy3 export and this has been corrected.

Version 2.0Db - February 2, 2006
·The Interface for the CTS DisplayLink Scoreboard software now can display team scores for the top 10 teams.
·The Generic Scoreboard Interface can now send out team scores from the Run Menu with Ctrl-F9 and can send out the rankings for the selected event that is in progress using Ctrl-F12.
·When a meet is setup as Divisions by Team, the award labels from the Run Menu using Ctrl-A had the division name on the label, but award labels from Reports / Labels did not and this has been corrected.
·Results can now be scored for meets where the setup is Divisions by Team and events are setup using Multi-Age Groups.
·If an entry fee report included the individual athlete charges and the athlete names were listed first name first, they were sorted by first name instead of last name and this is corrected.
·When editing an athlete, you can now declare an entry as exhibition by typing an "x" in front of the entry time.

Version 2.0Da - January 19, 2006
·The British GB Points have been revised for 2006-2007 and are now included in this release. Great Britain revises their points system every two years and revises the Age Factors for age group points every year. The 2006 Age Factors for BAGCAT Points are also now included in this release.
·When exporting results to TM or to SWIMS, you now have the option to exclude entries that were designated as bonus events.
·When in the Seeding Menu, you can now check or uncheck the Manual Seeding status for any event regardless of the status of the event. When checked, the event cannot be selected for computer seeding. Previously, manual could only be checked when the event was unseeded in the first round or seeded in the first round.
·Relay exchange reaction times can now be designated with +0.0 to signify that there was perfect exchange. A negative exchange time designates an early take-off and a blank for the exchange indicates there was no exchange recorded.

Version 2.0D - January 16, 2006
·Support for the British Columbia Summer Swimming Association (BCSSA) has been added to MEET MANAGER. In the Meet Setup, one selects BCSSA for ID Format and MM then conforms to the rules of the BCSSA.
·A new import has been added that supports USA Swimming's new Online Entry System. This will be used for major USA Swimming meets and the online system creates an entry file which MM can import.
·When time standards are flagged in results, exhibition results did not get flagged with the time standard tag and this is corrected.
·When mixed relays are listed in results or heat sheets, the gender of each relay swimmer is now included with the age, such as M14. If the meet is a Masters meet, all relays indicate the gender for each relay swimmer.

Version 2.0Cm - January 10, 2006
·The Scoreboard Interface for Colorado Timing Systems has been revised to prevent a Runtime error that started with the November 2005 update.
·When creating an Exception Report for entries that do not make a qualifying time, you now have the option to exclude bonus entries from being listed.
