Procedure to Download and Install Service Packs

Start TEAM MANAGER 8.0 and click on Check for Updates at the top of the main screen.        

Or, if a Firewall is preventing the Check for Updates process from completing, you can order a Product Replacement CD from the HY-TEK Online Store. Or, go to the HY-TEK Download Center, click on Update next to TEAM MANAGER 8.0, and SAVE the TEAM MANAGER 8.0 Service Pack update file to your hard drive (to c:\Hy-Sport for example). Then start TM 8.0 and click on File / Install Update and follow the prompts.

Previously, the Top Times Report was missing ages for some of the swimmers. This issue has been fixed in this release.

Previously, Team Manager 8.0 for Swimming would intermittently create blank reports, which could only be remedied by an uninstall and reinstall, only for the problem to reoccur later. This issue has been fixed in this release.

 

Version 8.0Dc 21 September 2017

Previously, when importing registrations from AWS, the import filters incorrectly imported registrations that were not in the selected group. This issue has been fixed in this release.

The TUSS.std standards file has been updated.

Previously, adding a new record with a millisecond-only Time/Score crashed the program. This issue has been fixed in this release.

Previously, when importing BCSSA meet results, BCSSA categories other than Swimming (such as Diving or Water Polo) were blanked. This issue has been fixed in this release.

Previously, when importing Meet Manager events files with the Exclude No Time (NT) Entries setting enforced, Team Manager imported this setting as not enforced. This issue has been fixed in this release.

A password-related security issue has been fixed in this release.

In the Help > About screen, the Sales Office telephone number has been updated to: 866-456-5111.

Previously, the File > Enable Network Login option was not persisted after the program was closed and opened twice. This issue has been fixed in this release.

Long Course FINA points have been updated to the current version.

 

Version 8.0Ch 24 February 2017

Previously, in Reports > Meet Reports > Meet Entry Fees, the Relay Entries fee team total on page 4 of the report was miscalculated. This issue has been fixed in this release.

Previously, when Set-up > Preferences > Language Preference was set to Espanol, clicking Archivo > Backup failed to open the backup screen. This issue has been fixed in this release.

Previously, in Reports > Performance Reports > Top Times, the Records tab is inconveniently selected by default. In this release, the Filters tab is now selected by default.

Previously, the Meets > a meet > Entries > Entry by Name > an athlete > 1000 IM Best time displayed NT even when a valid time exists in the Athlete Results page. This issue has been fixed in this release.

Previously, opening Athletes > View > Last Entered resulted in an Unknown Error. This issue has been fixed in this release.

Previously, uploading the Team Stats Online File for the first two teams resulted in two error messages. This issue has been fixed in this release.

Previously, entering a 4-digit year in an athlete's birthdate field resulted in a run-time error. This issue has been fixed in this release.

Previously, the Meet Results showed an incorrect course type. This issue has been fixed in this release.

The Meet Eligibility report now displays the qualifying standard even if the event has an open age range.

On the Help menu, the "Help Center" link has been renamed to "Online Help Center" and moved to the top of the menu.

Previously, after selecting or adding a Record, clicking the "Find Record" button resulted in a run-time error. This issue has been fixed in this release.

FINA points have been updated to the current version.

Multiple swimmers with tied record times are all flagged and displayed in the Record report.

NISCA Power Points have been updated to the 2014 revision.

In the 2016 Season Membership registration form, the USA Swimming portion of the registration fee has been corrected to $30.

The Point System report now displays Group, Subgroup and School year information.

Previously, after selecting a zipped meet events file to import, TM8 would not automatically navigate to the temporary folder containing the unzipped file. This issue has been fixed in this release.

Previously, in Athletes, the Last Name column sorted from Z to A by default. In this release, the Last Name column default sort order has been changed to A to Z.

Previously, in the Meet Eligibility Report, Qualification times were shown for the wrong events. This issue has been fixed in this release.

Previously, Records exported to PDF or Word files displayed periods (.) on the left side of the page that detracted from the appearance of the report. This issue has been fixed in this release.

Previously, online Team Registration import failed to import non-USA swimmer IDs. This issue has been fixed in this release.

Previously, online Registration import into an AUS team failed to automatically create AUS athlete IDs for athletes without existing IDs. This issue has been fixed in this release.

Previously, opening the Training tab without any athletes created would display a runtime error and crash the program. This issue has been fixed in this release.

Previously, athletes would not be displayed after the database is restored from a backup file. This issue has been fixed in this release.

In Help > Contents, “New Features in Team Manager 7” has been changed to “New Features in Team Manager 8”.
