MEET MANAGER 2.0 for Track & Field

Current Update Release Notes

Version 2.0Db - September 14, 2008
·When sending team scores to a Daktronics Scoreboard using the Ctrl-F1 feature, if the event in the request is a CC event, the team scores for that event has been corrrected to properly display the CC team scores rather than the normal teams scores for a track meet.
·There are new Combined Event Tables for the NCAA Indoor Pentathlon when the 55 dash or 55 hurdles are used instead of the normal 60 meter distance. The new tables convert the 55 meter time to a 60 time and then use the 60 meter tables for figure out the points.
·There is a correction to reading in a Lynx file within the CC/RR module when the Lynx file only has times with no competitor numbers. If the order of finish was already entered in the CC/RR module, these ranks were incorrectly erased.
·For Masters/Veterans meets, results showed the gender and age for athletes as MM35 instead of just M35 and this is corrected.
·In the Randomization Rules, there was a need rule E added in October 2007 in MM to conform with the new IAAF lane placement rule for the 100 to 800 for in lane races with more than one round. To conform to the new rule exactly, this randomization method has been fixed slightly within MM when 6, 9, or 10 lanes are used.

Version 2.0Da - July 8, 2008

·This update shows the "part of Active Network" logo in the license information at the bottom left of the main screen reflecting the acquisition of HY-TEK by The Active Network on July 2, 2008. The large MEET MANAGER 2.0 title has been removed from the main screen for better viewing of the picture image that you may have imported.
·In the Competitor Numbering Menu, you can now have genders numbered separately within a team instead of just alphabetically without regard to gender.
·When importing entries and update with improved times only is selected, the import was not updating existing entries with no time and this is corrected.
·The Team report for entry fees has a new check box to include athletes with no entries.
·When creating a Results Report and wanting to include competitor numbers, the numbers were not included on relay names and this is corrected.
·The Meet Program has been fixed so that the one heat per page works when selecting the standard one column or two column format.
·In Report Preferences there is a selection to Suppress the X for exhibition times for either the Meet Program or Results and this was not working in the Meet Program, but is now corrected.

Version 2.0Ci - May 11, 2008

·In the Run Menu, clicking a DQ check box also clears the mark if there is one and clears the points if a Combined Event.
·The list of events for the CC/RR Module now includes events 800 and up rather than just 1000 and up.
·When MM reads UlTrak L10 files for track, the last time in the race was formatted incorrectly and this is fixed.
·When exporting Field Event Relay results to Flat HTML, the points scored by each athlete would have too many decimals showing (such as 8.333333) and this is corrected.

Version 2.0Ch - April 8, 2008

·There is a new option for the real time results to specify the background color for heat/flight sheets and performance lists so that they can be different from real results.

·If an event is set not to score and then Score Event is clicked in the Run, a more clear message is displayed as to what options one has to proceed.
·If an event is set not to score and F12 is pressed to send real time results to the web, the event would get scored if the results to the web were set to include team scores. This has been corrected to send the results to the web without inadvertently scoring an event that was not supposed to be scored.
·When updating records in the Records Menu that are set to be for only one team, relay records were getting updated by any team faster than the record and this is corrected to only look for the record breaking team that matches the single team specified for these records.
·If there are several team abbreviations with the exact same team name, the entries list report did not properly show the sub-total for the number of entries and the amount of the entry fee and this is corrected for this special case.

Version 2.0Cf - January 23, 2008

Version 2.0Cb - October 17, 2007

·To accommodate the new IAAF rule for randomizing lanes for the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th lanes, a fifth randomization rule has been added to Setup / Seeding Preferences / Randomization Rules. The new rule is to randomization the first half of the lanes and then to randomize in pairs after that.

This revision allows those receiving multiple databases from say Association meets which advance to Regional meets to fix-up the entries for the regional meets in case there are changes after the Association meets are completed.
·For Youth Athletics, the date range for the low age of Divisions using birth date ranges can now be edited whereas the low date was set before according to a formula.
